Last year, in response to circumstances out of our control, we crowdsourced our keynote presentation. It went well – certainly well enough to do it again this year.

Here’s the idea:

  • Crowdsource all of the slides & text for a presentation to take place during the Freeplay Conference Program on September 22 & 23

Here’s the plan:

  • Think about what you’d tell a room full of developers, students, artists, educators, critics, writers, that fits in with our 2012 theme of Chaos and Grace
  • Make up a single powerpoint or Keynote or jpg slide that illustrates that.
  • Fill in the presenter notes with enough to fill around a minute if read out loud. That’s about  100 – 120 words. Try not to go over that.
  • Email the slide to unkeynote@freeplay.net.au

Here’s what we hope it will turn into:

  • We’ll stitch them together, try to find the common themes, and present them all together during the festival.

Feel free to spread this around, ask as many people as you can, and find (or think of) as many ideas and opinions and images and left-of-field thoughts about what Chaos and Grace might mean. [Update: deadline for submissions is Friday, September 21]
